Empowerment Technology or E-Tech often deals with the use of different technologies such as mobile phones, telephone, computer and other devices to locate, save, communicate and to inform. Empowerment Technology is important for its innovative uses is sufficient in our daily lives. There are three importance of Empowerment Technology and these are for communication, to make our lives easier and to help our county for its modernization plans.

Empowerment Technology is important for it is used as a source of communication. As years passed, lots of gadgets and other devices have improved its uses. Before, a cellular phone is only used for texting, calling and playing simple games. Now, due to technology convergence or the way technology changes or evolves its system, a cellular phone is not just used for texting, calling and playing simple games. It is now used for communicating people from other places by the use of the internet and applications or softwares such as facebook, messenger, twitter, viber, kakao talk and etc that is consistently been used by mostly everyone of us. Without these applications or softwares, we cannot communicate every day with the people who are far from us. Since Empowerment Technology is well-known among everyone of us, communication with other people who are far from us will never be a problem anymore. Friendships that has been broken by distance has now been rebuilt through the use of Empowerment Technology.

Empowerment Technology is important since it makes our individual lives easier in different aspects such as for school matters, office or work matters and for our individual matters. Before, blackboards and whiteboards are one of the tools used in teaching students. Now, there are already LCD Projectors that is being used by many institutions or schools nowadays. By the help of Empowerment Technology, teachers made their lives easier through the use of these projectors and the students as well made their lives easier in acquiring knowledge. E-Tech is not just useful for the school matters, but it is also useful in an office or work matters and for personal matters as well. For example, when you are ought to make a presentation. Since, technology has evolved, we already has these presentation softwares such as Microsoft presentation, Prezi, Lotus’ Freelance Graphics and etc. Without these presentation softwares, we will all still be stuck onto those visual aid presentation. Empowerment Technology doesn’t just  conserve time, but it can make our lives easier.

Last Reflection

There are a lot of things we had for last quarter or the 4th quarter. The  lessons are good. The new experience aren't bad. New skills gained. New things that can be used in the future. But there is something we have learned the most, having our classmates.
This is our last year of being a junior student. Someday we can apply all those skills to our new environment. If feels sad that we are not classmates anymore when we move up. The saddest thing would be the goodbyes. We shared a lot of laughs, learnings and ofcourse great memories. Through the years, we gained different experiences and skills we had in school we suffered all together and we also fight together.
Lessons for this school year have a lot of impact in ourselves. The people surrounds us has a greater inpact to us. We dream and believe together. It may be the last time that we'll be together but there is still time to meet again. The most precious things are having each and everyone and the great memories that we shared through thick and thin.

Dream is our future. The future us our dream. Everyone of us have dreams in life. A dream that we are fulfilling. Dreams that will change the future. Dreams that will truly come true.
Dreams are like maps in this labyrint world. The reason why we are following the right path. The reason why we are not yet lost. The reason why we are not yet giving up in this crazy maze.

Everyone of us have a lots of dreams. Some dreams are quite elegant while others aren't. People dream to change their future. We people dream to believe in ourselves. Our future depend on our dream and ourselves. We are fulfilling our dreams to make  our future a successful one. We should study harder to make our future a good one.

Yes, just like you I also have lots of dreams. Is this really what I want? can this make me happy?, is this God wants me to do? As young child I really wanted to be a teacher someday, but as day passes I also wanted to be a chef and as a grow older I realized that I should also be practical and be an accountant, a job that make my family's life comfortable and make them proud on me. But who says that I can't be a teacher, chef and accountant? I want these and I promise it will be my future.
We all have dreams just work hard to reach it. And remember a man who achieve great success was once a great dreamer so dream big to achieve big.

Dream, believe, survive, successful future. If we dream , we believe to ourselves. If we believe of course we survive. If we survive to all challenges in life, we have a successful future. Just trust ourselves. Think positive. Pray to God everyday and we will answer all our prayers.

Kannawidan Ylocos Festival 2020

Ilocos Sur province has it's own rich old heritage and amazing cultures that we Ilocanos needs to put our attention on it and pass it to the upcoming generations. We must not also ashamed of our cultures instead we must proud of it.

This January is said to be the celebration for the 196th Anniversary of the province of Ilocos Sur. One example of our cultural activities is the celebration Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. Kannawidan is celebrated on the month January to February, all municipalities of Ilocos joins together to celebrated the feast of entire province of Ilocos Sur. Our main goal why we celebrate this kind of feast is ti promote tourist destinations here in Ilocos, promotes their one town product, to share different cultures and his feast aims to advocate awareness on how to preserve the cultural heritage, and traditions, and for us to showcase the different products and agricultures on each municipalities of entire province. There are also different activities celebrated or oriented in this event like the street dancing that showcase the cultural dances of Ilocos Sur the crowning of new Ms. Saniata ti Ylocos and more.

We Ilocanos are not only rich with cultural activities, but we also have one big heart and mind on preserving , protecting, and promoting our traditional activities.

High School Day Memories

High school day is an event that every student must attend to have fun and enjoy with friends and classmates. This is where we can share great memories to everyone. They say that the high school life is the best stage or level. It is quite stressful than the collage life and this stage is the time were we matured enough for everything.
Here in our school, we're celebrating high school day every year. It is to enjoy, show the talents of the students, show different kind of dance and ofcourse great memories. High school day is the most awaited event of the students most especially the field demonstration wherein every grade levels will show their performance. Some students practiced and performed well while others aren't. In the first day of the high school day we had the coronations of the king and queen od the hearts and yheir princes and princesses. The next day is the parade, awardings and performing. Most the students enjoyed the event.
We must treasure great memories on those precious events. Spend time with your classmates, friends and love ones at school because someday we aren't there for each and everyone. High school life is really the best life.

Change Starts with ME...

Change happens wether we like it or not and regardless of the things that might change, we cannot do anything to make it stop or to make it stay just like the same as it is before. The happenings for tomorrow will be more different than today, but I believed that the bigger changes start within ourselves.
Maybe some of us don't like to change, because some of us believed that changing ourselves won't help us to become better person. But for me changing myself into something new is also the best start to change the negative thoughts in our lives, the negativities in the world that surrounds me. A change wherein I need to do for me to achieve a wonderful lifestyle, a change where I need to make, where I can change the society, the world I am residing right now, to change it into a peaceful, wonderful and a happy place to live. A change where I need to get rid off the negativities that lessens myself confidence to show the world who really I am.
We can lead change and make our world a better place if we start it with ourselves. We have our own decisions to make but I choose to change myself first for the better future.

Vigan City Fiesta

The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. St. Paul is Vigan City’s patron saint. Before his conversion, St. Paul was known as Saul, a zealous persecutor of Christians. After he was touched by a personal encounter with Jesus Christ on his way to Damascus, his name was changed to Paul and he endured a lot of hardships and danger to spread the word of God to far places.

Biguenos from all over the country and even abroad return to Vigan, as it is the custom of Filipinos to return to their hometown to join their family and friends in the celebration of their fiesta. They are joined by thousands of visitors from other parts of the Philippines and other countries in enjoying the cultural shows, parades and street dancing prepared by the local government with the help of the local industries and communities. There are also food fairs, arts and crafts exhibits, as well as a visiting carnival.

Participants from the different neighboring provinces in the northern region are also sent to compete in the various games and activities, particularly the street dancing competition. This participation by other municipalities makes the Vigan City Fiesta not only a local event participated in by Vigan’s officials, but a national event participated in by other local public heads and national officials. Within the Vigan City Fiesta days, the Longganisa Festival is also celebrated. The city has a

longganisa-themed parade and at one time attempted to set a record for having the longest longganisa ever made. The festival has become a crowd-drawer as Vigan longganisa, a native version of Mexican salami, has a distinct garlicky taste that has become a favorite of the Filipino palate. Though other manufacturers have tried to copy the Vigan longganisa taste, they have not been successful. Biguenos attribute this to the fact that the making of Vigan longganisa is a centuries-old tradition of the local makers and all if not most of the ingredients used in making the native sausage is sourced from Vigan. Vigan’s garlic and sugarcane vinegar are said to be more strongly flavorful. It’s a great take-home gift after partaking in a Vigan City Fiesta.

11:15...11:35...11:45...waiting at the clock to strike at 12 o'clock. Where the unceasing loud noises, unending greetings, joyful laughters and beautiful fireworks display start. As the New Year arrived, may we now change the bad attitudes we have into good ones as how long the calendar turned its page forward.

So now I am promising atleast try my best to alter my bad attitudes or doings into something that I can be proud of. I will be now changing my disposition on how I will look things. Be more positive, be optimistic and trust yourself. I will try to have more time on having more friends than spending in my room. I also promise to lessen my laziness, this can't be easy to take out off in my system but I will do everything to avoid this. And yes, responsibilities are hard ..."but always remember in everything we do there's alway a lesson that we would learned"...yes I will remember that.

And...Goodbye 2019 to the thing that made my year a little harden. The difficulties the hardship that we went through were all testament of how brave you are as a person and the scars that you bear are proof how you won the bottles of life. And goodbye to all my mistakes I made wrong and poor decision that made my life bit messed up.

Old habits are hard to forget especially the bad ones but I promise that this 2020 I will ne the best version of myself.

Christmas is the most special occadion that we need yo celebrate on the month of December. The day when we received our greatest gift, our saviour was born.
Christmas  is one of the most awaited season of all people. Excited to the gift that we are to receive, food that we would be eating and of course to the dress that we would be wearing. We were so happy celebrating, like its our last day but we didn't that not all are experiencing this. Poor families that are living in the street, families that doesn't have a food to eat, sleeping without even taking anything. This is the reality not all people have the same status as you.
The essence of christmas is not about having sparkling christmas lights and having well decorated christmas tree.
  Christmas is the day of giving. Share, spread and give love. It is not important how much you give because it the thought  that counts. Giving even you are also in need, giving wholeheartedly without waiting for return. Sharing without thinking of any reward or tokens.  Show your love even in the simplest thing that you know, smile to the person beside, even they are strangers or they are your enemies, say hello to anyone you'll meet along your way. Hug your friends tight, and dont forget to say the word "thank you".
On this day we received Jesus Christ, God gave his only son to us. So it's now our turn to give back by giving to the people around us.

          Today we will learn about environmental awareness. We will define the term, cite examples, explore the history of environmental awareness, and discuss its importance.

          Maybe some of you have seen posters, ads, and the like carrying the exhortation ''Go Green!'' But, what does it mean to ''go green''? It takes a variety of forms, but essentially, going green means being mindful of the natural environment and making economic choices that aren't harmful to the earth. For example, this might mean purchasing a glass or ceramic water bottle instead of using disposable plastic water bottles. Plastic takes an incredibly long time to break down, and a significant percentage of plastic makes it to the oceans, where it kills plant and animal life. Going green might also involve using an all-natural hair-care product, instead of a can of aerosol spray containing toxic chemicals.
          When people ''go green,'' they are practicing environmental awareness. The term means exactly what you expect it to: being aware of the natural environment and making choices that benefit--rather than hurt--the earth. In recent years, environmental awareness has gained increased attention. It is fair to say it has become a bit of a trend: from environmentally friendly tiny homes to organic food, environmental awareness is a hot topic. However, it is nothing new and it ought to be more than just a passing fad because of its importance. Let's dig deeper and learn more about environmental awareness.
          It's so many possible thing to do about environmental awareness to preseve this we must conserving energy and water, purchases, recycling, and activism.
But some people choose to buy clothing and products that contain natural fibers/materials, rather than synthetic ones. Obviously, recycling is another huge part of demonstrating environmental awareness. Still, others who are extremely passionate about this issue become activists. They might march in protests or organize rallies/events.
          As we can see, environmental awareness takes many forms, and each person must figure out what specific practices work for them.Going along with energy conservation is water conservation. People should be mindful to not waste water by leaving the faucet running while brushing teeth. Water is a valuable natural resource that we often take for granted. In many parts of the world, clean water is scarce. Being mindful of this is a huge step in demonstrating environmental awareness.These are the sone example to preseve the beauty of our environment.

            In a society, peace happens when different desires are in one agreement. Peace is based on many things, culture, education, family values, experience and history but the basis is the same to avoid war, kiling and in order to have the world peace, that's why each country are joining force to attain the peacefulness of our world.

            In a country, peace is a term that most commonly refers to an absence of aggression, violence or hostility. Peace isn't the absence of violence but rather teh presence of justice. In today's world , peace and harmony face various threats. Terrorism, regional imbalance, economic disparity and social inequality are some of the factors which threaten peace. We are all want our lives to be peaceful. We expect that peace to be omnipresent but what we need to realize is the fact that if we want peace , we have to live peacefully, love everyone, forgive and forget... It's not enough to stand around asking if world peace will ever happen because that won't do anything. Actions speaks louder than any words. If everyone starts living peaceful loving way things will change.

            Acceptance, compassion and tolerance are foundation of peace. Unity also matters to all of us for us to achieve world peace.

My Second Grading

          So this is the feeling to be like grade-10 student it's hard not just because of this subject but the combining forces of all. Sometimes I just want to give-up but I've started it and I have to finish it.

          I've gained a lot of knowledge during our second quarter. I learned so many things and explore about the topics. I've learned about the HTML tags, stand-alone tag and container tag, and I've learned how to use the text formatting tags, head tags and text alignments and on how to make a web pages, notepad and attributes. Thanks to this subject that reached me a lot of things, for adding my knowledge about this.

          Moving on, I will try my best for the next two more quarter to gain more knowledge for the future. Second grading is slightly hard but I've also enjoyed it. Yes it is stressful but at the end of the day we can say that is worth it.

HEROES IN REALITY

          In life, in order for us to grow, one must be influenced by the people surrounding us. Among our friends, family and all the people surrounds us there is only one person we truly admire and that's  our teacher. A teacher who stands as our second parents in school, and one of the people  who believe on us.
       
          Teachers has an important role in our lives. Teachers do a lot of things for their students. They are sacrifice the time that they should be spending with their families, their own happiness, the efforts that they are exerting just to make sure that we are learning and of course their everlasting patience for us-students. Yes, they are receiving a salary from the government but is this enough for their repay all their hard works?, all the things that they are doing?. Teachers role in our life is very important like our parents. We would never be the person that what we  wanted in the future if not because of them, we would never received a proper education that the only key for our dreams if not because of teachers. They are our hero, our savior the real batman, wonder woman and superman.

          We are celebrating Teacher's Day to give love to our teachers. They also need to rest and have fun. We should thank them for their unending love, sacrifices and efforts. Teachers must never be forgotten, must never be ignored, must be respected and must be recognized.

ISNHS Intramurals

          Intramurals sports refer to any recreational activity which are arranged within specific school or university. The purpose of this is to make students physically and mentally active and bring fun. It also promotes wellness such events cannot be boring band dull.

            Every school in the world can experience the intramurals.In our intramurals provide different activities or sports. In this event the perfect time to highlight fellowship sportsmanship and to enhance our talents.

             In every month of September we are celebrating our intramurals. In this celebration different sports are being held like volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis and also board games such us chess and scrabble.

          The Supreme Student Government (SSG) in our school also conducted fun activities and booths like movie booth, marriage booth, chemi-lock booth and also the love in rinth booth for the students to enjoy the intrams. Intramural makes students more confident so that their life would be brighter and ingrained.

               However the biggest opportunity and value of intramural is wellness and desire to be active and to get entertainment always.

                All in all intramurals is fun and exciting such events many advantages and open responsibilities for students to be active, happy and more fun. Encourage students to participate in active life and experiment in entertainment and to promote wellness event that cannot be conceals.

SCIENCE IS LIFE

      Science is known for being a hard subject in the school. Science is about creating new knowledge, inventions and investigations. Everything we can see are made from science. Science has a big impact in one society.

       In every month of September we are celebrating the Science Month Celebration. In this celebration different activities are being held like poster making contest, trashion show, photo envi-cum lecture, sci-trix, sci-quiz and also the Ginoo at Binibining Kalikasan.

           This activities are not created not only to enhance the skills of the students and their thinking abilities but also yielding the national wellness of the school and create an impact of good communication.

             "Metabolize Nourishing the Youth Towards National Well-being," this is the theme this year. Metabolism is the process of maintaining the condition of living things. In nourishing the Filipino Youth towards National Well-being, it is important to metabolize this process to maintain the awareness and condition of the youth, nourished and healthy environment as citizens of their country.

             We all know that science is everywhere and somewhere, anything and everything, somebody or someone. Science is everything that is surround us. It's to discover information, problems, hypothesis and conclusions. Everything in our world that we use somehow or someway was made by science. 

              And fortunately the activities became successful. The science month ended very well, thanks to the students who participated.

           Science has big part in the world. We don't know what a thing is, if we don't learn it. We should learn more to create a better way.

           "Happy Schools Movement" during is regional launch in Vigan Convention Center, Vigan City on May 20, 2019. The movement seeks to promote every school in the region as a better and enjoyable place. It aims to make more fun in school by developing a holistic learning environment for children or for all the learners. It is important for children to know that they are welcome and it is fun to be in their school and classroom.

          Happy School Movement is a great challenge for all the children that are learning. Going to school is not just about getting high grades the most important thing is for the children to have fun while learning.
