National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

            The Department of the Interior and Local Government Units to participate in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.

            The DILG is encouraging all governors, mayors and barangay chairman to join the NSED, according to DILG. “LGU’s should always observed maximum or extreme preparedness rather than employ a calibrated response not just for typhoons but also for earthquakes and other types of disaster. This approach will save more lives and further reduce the number of casualties”.

            National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) is encouraging by NDRRMC. Earthquake drill is very important because it can teach us students
and staff on how to responds the complication and it aims to identify the local communities and earthquake preparedness. As we live in an area where earthquakes are a frequent occurrence, we have include earthquake preparedness in our overall emergency plan.

            It is best for us to be prepared and ready for all eventualities.
