This event calls for action among national agencies and local government units (LGUs) to prevent disaster resilience campaigns towards increasing public awareness on the importance of disaster risk reduction and management. This will cover four thematic areas, namely disaster prevention and mitigation disaster preparedness, disaster response and disaster rehabilitation and recovery.
Every year of July is the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRRM) in the Philippines. This order aims to further strengthen every individual’s capability to be disaster resilient. This July 2019 everybody encouraged to do the act to promote or support the disaster resilience of the community.
In the local government unit, there is a lot of lined up activities. Some is conduct their information education campaign (IEC)to build awareness that can contribute to capacity development. Others should be doing tree planting activities, and skills trainings. But, whatever the LGU do, you need to do more. The following should guide you in your home, workplace or school to contribute in the campaign for disaster resilience. Evacuation is not a bad thing. Evacuation is important to everybody.

Letter For President

Dear President,
Good day sir! We would like to thank you, as there have been many changes and progress during your administration. We applaud you for cleanup of Boracay and Manila Bay. In the world where our environment is no longer valued, thank you for taking steps to protect and preserve the beauty of the Philippines. We also admire that you have been a proactive president in achieving you vision of a new and improved Philippines.
This administration is committed to a program of progressive moderation, liberal in its human concerns, conservative in its economic proposals, constructively dynamic and optimistic in its appraisal of the future. This program, I firmly believed, merits the endorsement and support of thinking, confident, forward-looking Filipinos.
For our country and the world, we seek establishments of international relationships characterized by order and justice, in which reason and truth are respected, under which men can live as neighbors at peace.
We recognized that you were hurt by the catholic church in you youth and we cannot imagine that traumatic effect this must have had on you. We sincerely apologized on behalf of the church and pray for your healing. Despite, this we believed that in dealing with the church, as well as our priests, respect should be given to them, as they serve as instruments of Christ.
We wish that you read this letter with an open mind and heart. We simply want to clarify any misconceptions you or anyone else might be having. If you are doubts about the teachings and beliefs of the catholic church, please allow us to show you the love and compassion that the faith is truly about. You have such great influence over the people of our country, and so we hope that you will be one to unite us and propel us forward as a nation.

We have it now, because of Them .

History must never be forgotten because we can never get what we have now without it. The past will determine our future.

In every 12 of June we are celebrating our Independence Day, the day we received our freedom through the braveness of our hero Filipinos. This year the theme is, " Kalayaan 2019: Pagbabagong Ipinaglaban  Alay sa Masaganang Kinabukasan."
It's a shame that we are enjoying freedom without knowing who sacrificed on this. So who are the them?

Jose Rizal, he wrote 2 novels – Noli Me Tangere, El Filibusterismo. That opened the eyes of the Filipinos
to fight their rights, to do something to stop the cruelty.

Andres Bonifacio, the leader of a secret organization called K.K.K aimed to overthrow Spanish sovereignty in the Philippines.

Marcelo Del Pilar, who established the Dyaryong Tagalog which published criticism on the way the Spaniards ran the government and treated it's people.

Tandang Sora, Lapu- Lapu, Francisco Baltazar. These are only fewe people who gave their lives for our Country.

Our Country would not be like this today if these people didn't put their lives in line. So what must we do?, give importance to what we have – the freedom to use it wisely, we must always know our limitation and we must always remember the people who suffered.

Just what Elias said in Noli Me Tangere, “ Mamamatay
akong hindi nasisilayan ang pagbubukang-liwayway sa aking bayan, Kayong makakakita, batiin ninyo siya at huwag kalimutan ang mga taong nabulid sa dilim ng gabi.” - Noli me tangere , Elias talking to Ibarra …

This is me.

We people tend to judge others without knowing who they are, where they came from, and  what is their story.

Nicole is my name, I am 15 years old. I am just an average girl  and also a school and home, home and school person. I am quite, I would rather stay in the corner than to be in the spotlight. I love my family and friends so much. I would do anything for them. I am studying for my family to be proud on me, to repay them for their sacrifices for me and for my siblings. For my friends, I easily forgive I hate long fights I always lower my pride just for us to be okay.  What I wish is just for me to finished my studies.

I accept who I am, so if anyone can't accept me for this, I don't care because except from myself my family and friends accepted me too.
